Captain Only Airports

This list aligns BAVirtual with the real-world restrictions in place for Mainline, Euroflyer, and CityFlyer operations, with a small number of exceptions. Where possible, BAVirtual applies the least restrictive option that still reflects real-world operations.

Members should ensure they meet the applicable rank or fleet requirement before operating to or from these airports. Where an airport has any restricted element in the real world, such as a restricted runway, BAVirtual restricts the whole airport. This is the only way that airfield restrictions can currently be applied.

Exceptions​

Jersey (JER/EGJJ) and Heraklion (HER/LGIR) are restricted for Euroflyer, but not for Mainline. As these airports are not restricted for Mainline operations, and BAVirtual cannot currently restrict by schedule, they are not restricted across BAVirtual.

London City (LCY/EGLC) is restricted for CityFlyer. To operate to or from London City as a First Officer at BAVirtual, members should complete the Steep Approach and London City training module in Moodle.
