Discord - What is it? And how do I join it?

Discord is a widely used communication system used by many gaming related organisations. It gives us the voice capavility of TeamSpeak but adds a much more capable interactive text function that can be used on desktop and through Androis and iOS systems. You can keep in touch with BAV even when you're out and about!

You have several choices when it comes to using Discord, either through a website, a desktop app and a mobile app.

In order to start using Discord you will need to register with your own account by registering with Discord.

Joining BAVirtual Server and Obtaining Access​

In order to join the BAVirtual Discord Server follow the steps below:

  • Go to your Edit Profile page on BAVMS, there you can find a section called Discord Setup. Once there click on the big green 'Join Server' button.

After doing this, you will be automatically added to the BAVirtual Discord server and will be able to see the channels in the server.

If you receive a message saying "You were not found in the BAVirtual Discord. Please join and redo this process" please check that you have been added to the server. Or additionally, upon joining and if you do not see any channels in the server, please open a Membership Enquiry though our BAVirtual Ticket System
